Livingston County Genealogical Society to hold zoom meeting on April 4th
The Livingston County Genealogical Society will meet at 7pm Thursday, April 4th via zoom.
Derek Blount will present “Where are the Early Dead of Detroit”—a review of the early cemeteries of Detroit, what happened to them, and the people buried there. A discussion of where to find death records for the early days will also take place.
Blount is a professional genealogist. He has worked for 35 years on his family genealogy traveling across America, Canada and the United Kingdom gathering records. Derek was born in England and specializes in research in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth nations. He holds a B.S. degree from Oakland University and has completed coursework at the Genealogical Research Institute of Pittsburgh.
