Livingston County United Way holding ‘Spirit fo the Community’ on March 10

The Livingston County United Way is celebrating the “Spirit of the Community” at their Annual Meeting & Volunteer Award Event on Wednesday, March 10. The event will be virtual this year, but organizers promise it will “still provide the expected creativity and fun from our face-to-face events.”

“Each year we take the time to celebrate this community and how collaboration and partnership strengthens our community,” organizers noted. “The program will share a look back at how things operated before COVID, how we all adjusted over the past year and take a look ahead to the future of our community.”

Brian Jonckheere, Livingston County Drain Commissioner and current United Way Board President, will host the event.

The 2020 Volunteer of the Year Awards will be presented to local individuals, business and youth organizations for their outstanding service to the community in leadership, compassion, and volunteerism.

As this year’s Spirit of the Community Event will not require you to commute and there is no cost, we hope everyone can join the event. Please reserve you spot by registering at www.lcunitedway.org, direct link https://conta.cc/3oJTDAl , calling 810-494-3000 or emailing lcuw@lcunitedway.org.
