George was a lifelong resident of Livingston County. He worked at Howell Electric Motors until retirement. Farming was also a big part of his life. Being an only child, he took great pride in working side by side with his dad. Milking cows in the beginning and later raising cattle for beef. The farm on Allen Road has always been home. After the days of farming, George and Betty spent many a winter traveling to Florida and Texas to become snowbirds, and getting away from our Michigan snowstorms. Enjoying their many friends they met along the way. Last few years keeping them close to home and enjoying their family.  Neighbors all knew “George”. Just watch for that golf cart to come rolling in your yard, many hearts, he touched.
No funeral will be held. Cremation followed by celebration of life at a later date. Friends and family are encouraged to share memories of George and sign the family’s online guestbook at www.macdonaldsfuneralhome.com Arrangements by MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell (517-546-2800)
