Irene K. Haller
Irene K. Haller, 81, of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Irene was born May 10, 1939, the daughter of William and Ruth (Wollenhaupt) Bugard.
Irene graduated from Howell High School in 1957, then was employed as a school secretary in Howell and later at the Fowlerville Community Schools. Irene loved children of all ages. She had a passion for playing cards with her sister JoAnn and cousins Sharon and Gail, and going on vacation with them around the country.
Irene enjoyed playing cards with other family members, shopping, garage sales and going gambling at the casino.
She also volunteered for 20 years with the American Red Cross. Irene and Ed spent many years working at the First United Methodist Church turkey dinners.
Irene is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ed; children Susan Haller-Wollenhaupt and Nancy (Sean) Donohoe, both of Fowlerville; grandchildren John Donohoe and Kayla Donohoe; a sister JoAnn (William) Windsor of Hartly, Delaware and a brother William (Dorotha) Bugard of Webberville.
Visitation took place Thursday, July 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home in Fowlerville. Visitation was also held on Friday, July 24, at Greenwood Cemetery at 10 a.m., followed by the services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tom Tarpley officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Haller family for future designation to Brighton Manor Memory Care Facility.

William Loyd Vogt
William (Bill) Loyd Vogt, of Fowlerville, Michigan, died July 1, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 69.
William was born in Howell, Michigan on October 18, 1950, to William and Hilda Vogt. He graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1969 and joined the United States Army immediately thereafter, and served in the Vietnam War as Military Police. He returned home from duty and attended Lansing Community College where he earned a degree in Auto Mechanics and work for Electrical Apparatus in Howell, Michigan, concurrently serving as a part-time member of the Army Reserves Unit in Lansing, Michigan. He then re-enlisted as a full-time Sergeant in the Army Reserves making a career of computer logistics.
During his military career he was stationed in many places, including Arkansas, California, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, Oklahoma, and Vietnam. He retired from the U.S. Army, May 1, 1998, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, where he lived the remainder of his life.
He is survived by his aunt, Rhua (Vogt) Bliss; siblings, Wanda (Vogt) Slick and Larry Vogt; nieces Tina Anderson, Tanja Scifers, Tiffany Carr, and Joeline Slick; as well as cousins, great nieces and nephew, and his long-time companion, Delorce Elliott, and her children.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 30, 2020, at 2 pm, in Greenwood Cemetery in Fowlerville, Michigan with Military Honors. In honor of his love for the military, the family asks that any donations be made to the VFW National Home for Children, 3573 S Waverly Rd, Eaton Rapids, MI 48827.

Michael Kevin Reynolds
Michael Kevin Reynolds, age 63, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, died unexpectedly at his home on June 21, 2020. He was born April 12, 1957 in Lansing, the son of Phillip J. Reynolds and Goldie Sue (Hicks) Reynolds.
Michael graduated from Fowlerville High Schoool in 1975. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea, Germany, and Fort Benning in Georgia.
He was married to Michelle Freda, and they had four children. He also had two other children.
Michael is survived by his children: Melissa Stone of Fenton, Sarah Wheeler of Fenton, Ian Reynolds of Dearborn, Ryan Reynolds of Morrice, Talise Reynolds of Manitoba, Canada, and Tatum Freling of Winnipeg, Canada; his mother, Goldie Sue Reynolds of Fowlerville; two brothers, Phillip J. Reynolds, II of Howell and Rev. Donald J. Reynolds of Capac; 15 grandchildren; and two aunts, Sylvia Labuschewsky and Kimberly Niblock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Phillip J. Reynolds.
Michael was buried in Hamtramck, Michigan.
Julia Carol Ramos
Julia Carol Ramos, 80, of Fowlerville, MI passed away Saturday July 11, 2020 in Ann Arbor, MI. She is survived by her sons Allen, Robert, Philip, Darrell (Emily) and Jason Ramos and daughters Patricia Supp (Mike), Grace Baisch (Richard), Carol Rajala (Rodney), and Rene Malin (Jon).
Also survived by her brother David Booth and sisters Joan Powell, Barbara Carpenter, Margaret Tooley, and Florence Rich, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by husband Philip Ramos II, son Steven Ramos, grandson Gage Rajala, brothers Frank, John, Eddie, Joe, Bobby, and Jimmy Booth and sisters Marion Booth and Janet Antonini.

Judi Lynn Glaros
Judi Lynn Glaros, age 59 of Fowlerville, formerly of Brighton, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Born in Detroit on February 28, 1961, she was the daughter of William M. and Patricia A. (O’Brien) Johnson.
Judi was known for being a good Christian, always positive and full of love. She was also very charitable, loved music, animals and fishing.
She is survived by the pride and joy of her life, her son Reed Glaros and his amazing girlfriend, Christina Fulgenzi of South Lyon. Loving daughter of Bill and Pat Johnson of Fenton. Sister of Joyce Erskine of Waterford, Jill Bell of Fowlerville and Jeff Johnson and his wife, Sherrie Couwlier of Caro. Loving aunt of Shannon, Alex, Abbie, Dylan and Blaney. Also survived by her grandcats, Tina and Odin.
A funeral service in honor and celebration of Judi’s life was held Thursday, July 23, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell, with visitation held that same day as well. Ted A. Finch
Ted A. Finch, age 42, of Summervile, South Carolina, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2020. He was born Jan. 12, 1978 in Howell, Michigan, the son of Jim and Mary Ann (Crofoot) Finch.
At age four he moved to California with his mother where he lived until he was 12 years old. He then returned to Howell to live with his father and attended Howell Public Schools. He was a commerical engineer in South Carolina for the past eight years.
Ted is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Crofoot of Fowlerville; his father, Jim Finch of South Carolina; a son, Frey Bruce Finch of South Carolina; a brother, Edward (Linda) Finch of Corunna; sister, Freda (Chad) Ries of Leslie; two nieces from Michigan; and a niece and nephew from California.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Doris and Bill Crofoot, and his fraternal grandparents, Alice and Bill Harrison.
VFW Auxiliary to served BBQ Rib Dinner on Friday, August 7th at hall
The VFW Auxiliary is serving a BBQ Rib Dinner on Friday, August 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the VFW hall at 215 Veterans Drive in Fowlerville. The meal includes a half slab of ribs, baked potatoe, baked beans, rolls, dessert, and drink. Cost is $9 per person.
