Steven Ray Randall
Steven Ray Randall, age 64, passed on Friday, October 20, 2017, at University of Michigan hospital due to complications from congestive heart failure.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Rachelle Ryan (Adam), of Fowlerville; his beloved grandchildren, Danielle and Matthew Ryan; and girlfriend, Terri Sampey. He is also survived by his brother, Dave Randall of Holly; sister, Sandra Sobota of Adrian; twin brothers, Chet Randall (Debbie) and Charles Randall of Fenton; and brother, Scott (Dee) Randall of Fenton. Steven was the proud uncle of 9 nieces/nephews, 14 grand nieces/nephews, and one great-grand nephew.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Genevieve Randall, of Fenton.
Steven was born December 18, 1952, at New Grace Hospital in Detroit. He graduated from Hartland High School as Class President in 1971. He began working in the custodial/maintenance department for Hartland Consolidated Schools in 1975 and retired as the Maintenance Supervisor in 2001.
During his life, Steven enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family. He especially enjoyed smelt dipping in the spring and salmon fishing in the fall with his older brother, Dave. Upon retiring, most of his time was spent caring for his granddaughter, Danielle, while her mother attended college. Later in life, he provided support and respite care for his grandson, Matthew.
His friends and family will always remember Steven as a social man who always was willing to lend a hand. He was deeply involved in the care and upbringing of his grandchildren and always looked for ways to pay it forward.
According to Steven’s wishes a funeral service will not be held. A memorial luncheon is being given by the family on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at Ore Creek Middle School in Hartland from 1-4 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steven’s life. The family has designated the Arc of Livingston to receive donations in Steven’s memory. Williamston Masonic Lodge to hold Farm Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 5
The Williamston Masonic Lodge will hold its next Family Style Farm Breakfast on Sunday, Nov. 5, from 8 am - noon. The all-you-can-eat breakfast includes eggs, bacon, pancakes, hash browns, toast, applesauce, coffee and milk. Prices are: adults $8; children ages 5-12 are $3, and children under 5 are free. Pre-sale tickets available to Community Theatre’s ‘Miracle on 34th Street’
The Fowlerville Community Theatre will be performing ‘Miracle on 34th Street’ this holiday season at the Alverson Center for Performing Arts. The Center is located in the high school.
The show will be performed Friday and Saturday, Nov. 17-18, at 7 p.m. and on Sunday, Nov. 19, at 2 p.m.
Pre-sale tickets are $8 for seniors and students and $10 for adults. There isn’t any charge for children 3 and under. Tickets will be available at the door, but will cost an additional $2.

Friends of the Webberville Library to hold Silent Auction, starting Nov. 6
The 4th annual Silent Auction for the Friends of the Webberville Library will soon be underway.
Donations of auction items are now being accepted from patrons and businesses. Please consider a donation of handcrafted or homemade items, themed gift baskets, artwork, event tickets and other collectibles. Donations may be brought to the Webberville Library during regular library hours through Saturday, November 4, 2017.
Donated items will be on display in the library and bidding will begin on Monday, November 6. The public is invited to browse and place “silent” bids up until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21st. You are sure to find something to suit all tastes and may find many unique gift items for the coming holidays.
