Webberville United Methodist Church holding  Harvest Dinner on Oct. 19
    Webberville United Methodist Church is holding its  annual Harvest Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 19,  from 4-7 pm. The church is located at 4215 E Holt Road, Webberville. The menu includes turkey and ham and all the trimmings. 
Free will donation.   Take-out available. 

Webberville Lions Club holding  annual Wreath Sale now thru Nov. 11th    
The Webberville Lions Club is holding its annual Wreath Sale during the month of October through November 11th. In addition to wreaths the Lions Club will be selling 15-foot lengths of garland, 3-foot grave blankets and 5-foot grave blankets. Order deadline is November 11th. Payment is due with order. Oak Grove UMC holding Swiss Steak Dinner, Craft Bazaar & Bake Sale
   A Swiss Steak Dinner, Craft Bazaar and Bake Sale is being held on Saturday, October 19, 4:30-7 p.m. at the Oak Grove United Methodist Church, 6686 Oak Grove Road, Howell (5 miles north of M-59).  Join us for a delicious meal: Swiss Steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, green beans, coleslaw, rolls & pies.  No reservations necessary.  A free-will donation will be taken at the door. Plan to visit our craft bazaar and bake sale – open from 4:30-7 p.m. for Christmas gifts and delicious food items. All proceeds go to the mission work of the United Methodist Women. Howell 1st Presbyterian Church holding Treasures & Treats Craft Show Nov. 1-2
    Treasures & Treats Craft Show will be held on Nov. 1 & 2 at the Howell 1st Presbyterian Church, located at 323 W. Grand River. The event takes place on Friday 4-7 PM and Saturday 10 – 3. German Dinner being served at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Oct. 12
    Bring your family and friends to St. John’s Lutheran Church  in Fowlerville for a German Dinner on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. This good meal is also the place for good conversation and delicious German-style food in a friendly atmosphere. Bring your family and friends!
    The menu consists of traditional German potato salad, baked chicken, sauerkraut and Kielbasa, buttered noodles, green beans, Jello salads, rolls, desserts and beverages.
     Tickets may be purchased from St. John’s church office on Sunday morning (Oct. 6) from 10:45-11:15 a.m. and Tuesday through Friday, from 9 am until 2 pm. The church is located at 132 S. Benjamin Street  in Fowlerville. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 517-223-9108. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5-10. Children 4 years and under eat for free. Fowlerville Garden Club holding  Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 9
     The Fowlerville Garden Club will be holding an Open House on Wednesday, October 9th from 6:00- 8:30 pm at the Village Office located at 213 S. Grand Ave.  All are welcome!  We will have information for anyone who would like to know more about the club or wants to know more about gardening in general.  Feel free to bring your gardening questions!  There is no obligation to join the club and you do not have to be a resident of Fowlerville to join the club.
     There will be Door Prizes, Refreshments and Gift Bags for the first 20 guests. 
     Come by and meet our scarecrow Petunia and garden gnome Fritz and enjoy a fun evening! 

American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Craft Show and Bake Sale coming soon
   The American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Craft Show and Bake Sale is being held Saturday, November 23, 10am – 4pm. The event will feature two floors of shopping plus bake goods for the holidays! The Legion Hall is located at 3265 W Grand River at the corner of M59 and Grand River, Howell Twp.
