Webberville United Methodist Women to host annual ‘Christmas Cookie Walk’
   The Webberville United Methodist Women are hosting their annual ‘Christmas Cookie Walk and Candy Too’ this Saturday, Dec. 16, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. The cost is $5 per pound. The church is located at 4215 E. Holt Road (corner of M-52 & Holt).

Howell Eagles Club & the Blue Notes to present dance music on Sunday, Dec. 17
    The Howell Eagles #3607 and the Blue Notes band unite to present their last dance of the 2017 schedule on Sunday, Dec. 17, from 3 to 7 p.m. The club is located at 171 Schroeder Park Drive in Howell.
   A $5 admission fee will open the doors to an afternoon of pure enjoyment of a wide variety of musical selections from our talented musicians, including Big Band sounds, Latino, country, waltzes, and ‘yes’ even some rock and roll.
    Membership is not required to attend. Food and beverages are available for purchase. We have great cooks!

Howell Choirs to perform holiday concert at The Opera House on Dec. 18
     Enjoy holiday classics and new favorites performed by the Howell High School “Highlander Chorale,” accompanied by “Ladies First” from Parker Middle School, under the direction of Brendan Closz. This annual concert –is always a popular community event for the holidays!
    The concert will be performed on Sunday, Dec. 18. Doors will open at 7 PM and the show will begin at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $5 per person at the door. The event is sponsored by the Livingston County Arts Department.

Preschool-Adults. Welcome Rooftop Landing to the Fowlerville District Library! Indoors, we will read and have parent-child stations. Outdoors we will visit and pet reindeer! *Participation is limited Register in person to attend. Registration begins November 29th.

Stained Glass Heart Hanger Workshop - Thursday, December 14th at 7pm
Adults. No experience required for this hands-on workshop taught by Steena, an instructor at Delphi Glass. You will be taught basic stained glass construction including cutting, foiling and soldering from an expert. Create a stunning heart shaped sun catcher with a bevel center.  *Registration is FULL. Travel Talk: Iceland - Thursday, January 4th at 7pm
Adults. Highlighting the sights, sounds, life-changing encounters, and humorous stories of world travel while at the library! Start the journey with an inexperienced first-time traveler and end with an around the world year-long seasoned traveler! Presentations will include question & answer sessions and refreshments. *Register in person to attend. Registration begins December 21st and includes a refundable $5 cash deposit. 

Keely Ann (West) Salisbury

     Keely Ann (West) Salisbury, 49, of Morley, Michigan, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017.
     Keely was born in Webberville, Michigan, on July 2, 1968, to Darrell and Donna (York) West. She graduated from Webberville High School (Valedictorian Class of 1987) and Ambassador College. Keely was a devoted wife and mother, loving daughter and sister, and caring friend. She lived with a smile on her face and a song in her heart.
    She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Stephen, Joshua, Sarah, Rachel, Benjamin, Noah, and Hannah; father, Darrell West; brother, Dustin (Tiffany) West of Webberville; sister, Karmi (Richard) VanSickle of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and numerous cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Joshua Alan Childers

    Joshua Alan Childers age 24 of Fowlerville passed away Friday November 24, 2017. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on March 19, 1993. Joshua graduated from Fowlerville High School in 2011. He loved animals and also enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing sports and video games. He was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle and nephew. 
     He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ronald Rife. He is survived by his parents Michael (Kelli) Childers of Shelby Twp, and Deborah Rife Childers of Fowlerville, grandparents Patricia Rife, J. Michael (Peggy) Childers, Donna Ratliff, his siblings Cari (Ed) Peck, Brandon (Roxann) Childers, his twin Jason Childers, and his nephew Finnegan Childers. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins and his stepsisters Cassie, Amanda, and Brittany. 
      Visitation was from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Friday December 1, 2017 with a memorial service that followed at 12:00 PM. Bonnie Kay Roddenberg

   Bonnie Kay Roddenberg, beloved mother and widow, passed away at age 56 while at home early in the morning on November 27, 2017. Born March 4, 1961 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of Richard Chiolino and Judy McKenzie. 
     Years after meeting her husband, Bonnie and Larry moved to the Fowlerville area to raise their children. This move allowed Bonnie an opportunity to become a para-pro in May of 1994 which she did for 25 years for Fowlerville Schools. Over this time Bonnie naturally shined her wonderful light onto many kids and guided them as if they were her own. Bonnie not only had a way with kids, she also had a love for animals which is apparent from her 15 years of work at Brady Kennels and the dogs she cared for (Small Block, Max, Peanut, Heidi and Moose). 
     Bonnie also enjoyed gardening, watching her sons race figure eight cars, riding on a quad with her husband and spending time with all of her family. She had a strong faith and believed God always had a plan. 
     Bonnie was a loving mother to Alex Roddenberg and deceased son Nicholas Roddenberg; she was a ray of sunshine to sisters Connie Chiolino-Snider, Holly Turoski and Arlene Raynolds; Also survived by mother, Judy McKenzie; grandchildren, KC Roddenberg and Grace Roddenberg; and many nieces and nephews. 
    Preceded in death by her father, Richard Chilino; husband, Larry Roddenberg; and son, Nicholas Roddenberg.   
    Funeral services were held on Thursday, Nov. 30, at 11:00 am at St. John Lutheran Church in Fowlerville, MI. Visitation took place on Wednesday, Nov. 29,  2-4 pm and 6-8pm at Herrmann Funeral Home, Fowlerville, MI.
