Dorothy Redinger
My Faith has found a resting place.
    Dorothy Joan Hess Redinger was born on March 13, 1929 in Fowlerville, Michigan.  She went on to her heavenly home on January 4, 2017, after suffering from complications of double pneumonia.  
     She is survived by her husband: Pastor Lauren Redinger, daughters: Cynthia (Tim) Campbell, Alice (Bruce) Repei, Lois Lane (Ron) James, Susan (Rob) Cassolato, son: Sam Redinger, 13 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, sister: Janice (Harvey) Klann of Rogers City, Michigan, and sister-in-law: Lillian Redinger and family.
    Thank You for upholding our beloved friend and brother, Pastor Lauren Redinger, in your prayers.  Funeral celebrations were held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at the Calvary Baptist Church in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada.  As Lauren often says, WE PRESS ON!

The Livingston Arts Council hosting special St. Patrick’s Day Celebration
Join The Livingston Arts Council this St. Patrick’s Day for good food, good music, and good times! 
    The event will be held on Friday, March 17, from 6 – 7:30 p.m.at The Howell Opera House. The council will offer a traditional Irish dinner of corned beef & cabbage or fish & chips, while during dinner, singer and violinist Bianca Ashby will be performing traditional Celtic music. At 7:15 p.m. doors will open for a concert featuring Celtic fusion band Nessa and everyone is invited to the dance floor!

Fowlerville High School Testing Schedule 2017!
   Testing for Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors will begin the week of April 10, 2017!
    New state law requires all 9th and 10th grade students to participate in a state summative assessment. Summative assessments measure what students are expected to know and be able to do at specific grade levels and in specific content areas.
    The Michigan Merit Exam (MME) has three components and is the required assessment for 11th grade students. The MME includes the SAT, ACT WorkKeys, and M-STEP Science and Social Studies assessments.
Testing schedule for Fowlerville High School students for Tuesday, April 11, 2017:
    Seniors do not attend school on Tuesday, April 11.
    Freshmen will participate in the PSAT 8/9. Freshmen are to report to FHS for testing by 7:30 am. Testing will conclude by 11:05 am. Freshmen will then follow their 4 - 6 hour schedule and will be dismissed at 2:10 pm.
    Sophomores will participate in the PSAT 10. Sophomores are to report to FHS for testing by 7:30 am. Testing will conclude by 11:05 am. Sophomores will then follow their 4 - 6 hour schedule and will be dismissed at 2:10 pm.
Juniors will participate in the SAT. Juniors are to report to FHS for testing by 7:30 am. Testing will conclude by 1:00 pm. Juniors are dismissed for the day once testing concludes.
   Testing schedule for Fowlerville High School students for Wednesday, April 12, 2017:
   Freshmen, Sophomores, and Seniors will follow their regular school schedule.
   Juniors will report to FHS for testing by 7:30 am, where they will participate in the ACT WorkKeys. Once testing for ACT WorkKeys concludes, Juniors will attend lunch in the cafeteria. After lunch, Juniors will take the M-STEP Science followed by the M-STEP Social Studies assessments. Juniors will be dismissed at the regular time of 2:10 pm. 
4th of July Chili Cook-off taking place this Saturday, March 11, at VFW Hall
     The Livingston County/Fowlerville Fireworks Committee will be holding the 13th Annual 4th of July Chili Cook-Off this Saturday, March 11, at VFW Post 6464, located at 215 Veterans Drive in Fowlerville from 4 to 7pm. 
    There will be 50/50 drawings, vendors, a Silent Auction and some really great chili! Dinner includes one sample of each chili and one bowl of the chili of your choice, salad, beverage and dessert. Prices are $8.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Children 5 - 12 years old, and a children's dinner consisting of a hot dog, chips, beverage, and dessert is $4.00.

Breathers’ Club meeting to be held on March 14 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital
    The Breathers’ Club is a community service support group for patients affected by heart and breathing (cardio-pulmonary) diseases and their caregivers, family and friends. Everyone interested in learning how to live a better, fuller life or how to care for those with these conditions is encouraged and welcome to attend.
    Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of the month at noon (12:00p.m.) in the Community Room at St Joseph Livingston Hospital in Howell. An informational speaker and pertinent topic are featured each month.
      Our next Breathers Club is scheduled for Tuesday, Noon: March 14. Our Pulmonary Rehabilitation Therapist is available to assist and answer questions. For recorded meeting information call: (517) 545-6020.






Livingston Acoustic Music Society to gather on March 11 at Fowlerville church
    The Livingston Acoustic Music Society (LAMS) Jam Sessions are open to interested musicians, singers and listeners. We include many different instruments, styles of music and levels from beginners to accomplished. 
    Location: Fowlerville Church of the Nazarene; 8040 Country Corner Dr.; Fowlerville, MI: In the strip mall just south of the I-96 (over pass) bridge on Fowlerville Rd.
