David (Boo-Boo) Brewer of Fowlerville, MI passed away peacefully at the age of 56. Services will be held in his honor at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, located at 340 Pontiac Trail, Walled Lake, Michigan 48390.

David Andrew Johnston
David Andrew Johnston, 37, of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Mountain Home, Idaho.
David was born in Clackamas, Oregon, on January 26, 1988, to Mathew Johnston and Debra Beyer. He grew up in Washington State and moved to Fowlerville in 2007 with his mother and sisters, where he became a valued member of the community, working in the food and construction industries.
David was a loving son, brother, and father. Quick with a smile and always ready to lend a hand—or the shirt off his back—he met people with kindness. He loved music, whether strumming his guitar or sharing favorite songs with friends and family.
David is survived by his daughter, Daenerys Johnston; his mother and stepfather, Debra and Michael Beyer; his siblings, Stephen Johnston, Kelsey Goldman, and Kendall Johnston; and his stepsiblings, Jessica and Nathan Beyer. He was preceded in death by his father, Mathew Johnston.
LeRoy Tennant
September 18, 1942 to July 13, 2025
LeRoy Tennant passed away in the morning of July 13, 2025 at home with family. He was a lifelong member of Fowlerville. He retired from General Motors as a factory worker. After retirement he dabbled in many jobs: carpenter, auto parts store, deck builder, and farmer. He loved planting his garden every year and always seemed to grow enough food to feed many friends and families .
Leroy was a husband, a father, an uncle, a grandpa, a neighbor. He seemed to available when anyone needed help.
He was married to Beverly Spare from Howell in June of 1963. Beverly passed away in April of 2019.
They had 4 sons: Donald, David, Micheal and Jeffery. He had 7 grandkids and and 9 great grandkids at the time of his passing. He had 2 brothers and 1 sister: Harold, Arnold and Elenor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royce and Nellie Tennant.
Please join his family in a celebration of life ceremony on September 13 2025 at the American Legion Hall, 3265 W Grand River Ave., Howell Michigan from noon to 4 pm. We would like you to share some experiences you had with him. Lunch to be served
Mary Ann Foulkes
Mary Ann Foulkes, 75, of Traverse City, Michigan (formerly of Bethesda, Maryland) passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at her home. Mary was born on September 8, 1949, in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late Nelson and Margaret (Daly) Foulkes.
Mary was the eldest of six children, graduating from St. Joseph Catholic High School in 1967. She received her bachelor’s in mathematics from Siena Heights, her master’s from university of Michigan, and her Ph.D. in biostatistics from University of North Carolina in 1980.
In 1985 she joined the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Disease staff, where she served as chief of the Biostatistics Research Branch in the Division of AIDS. Mary received numerous awards during her career, including the Founders Award from the American Statistical Association for “influential contributions and statistical leadership in AIDS, cancer, and neurologic research.” Mary also served in leadership positions at the Food and Drug Administration as part of the Center for Biologics Evaluation & Research and was an advocate for including more women in federally funded clinical trials.
Mary was a mentor in many ways for her siblings, her nieces and nephews, and colleagues. She was always excited when any of them pursued mathematics as a degree choice. She also taught statistics visually through Johns Hopkins and George Washington University. Mary was a patron of the Arts, hosting her nieces and nephews so they could attend Stratford plays and concerts in many locations. Mary enjoyed attending Interlochen Center for the Arts many times since moving back to Michigan. She enjoyed travel, visiting several different countries. Keeping with a family tradition, Mary also enjoyed competitive games of Scrabble.
Mary is survived by her three brothers Nelson (Bella) Foulkes of Fowlerville, Robert Folks (Robin Johnson) of Suttons Bay, James Folks (Mimi Broihier) of St. Joseph, and two sisters Catherine (John) Holcombe of Suttons Bay and Eileen (Dennis) Mikus of Pellston, as well as four nieces (Kelly Holcombe, Amy Anderson, Margaret Rupp, & Molly Foulkes) and two nephews (Alan Holcombe & Matthew Mikus).

Kate Elizabeth Rudnicki
Kate Elizabeth Rudnicki, age 92, formerly of Fowlerville and Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and quiet strength that touched all who knew her.
Kate was born on February 10, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, to Elmer Schirmer and Flora (Stockbridge) Schirmer. She lived a life rooted in devotion to her family, creativity, and community.
Known for her deep love of old movies and her beautiful knitting, Kate once earned a blue ribbon at the Fowlerville Fair for her craftsmanship. Her passion for baking brought people together, and many were blessed to share a seat at the Rudnicki dining room table, where love was served alongside every meal.
Kate shared 68 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, Richard Rudnicki, before his passing in 2020. Together, they built a home and raised a family in the Fowlerville community, creating countless memories that will live on through the generations.
Kate is survived by her loving children: Pamela Potter of Indiana, Andrea Lowinski of West Virginia, Brad (Kris) Rudnicki of Michigan, and Stacia DeNoyer of Florida. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren, all of whom carry her spirit and legacy.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters-in-law Kathryn Sovie, Judith Haskill, and Linda (Al) Sliwinski, and her brother-in-law James (Dixie) Rudnicki.
Kate was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Warren Hayden, and her husband Richard.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Fowlerville, as well as Trinity United Methodist Church in Zephyrhills, Florida.
Kate will be laid to eternal rest alongside Richard at the National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida—a final reunion with the love of her life. Following Kate's wishes there will be no formal service and cremation has taken place
Her strength, generosity, and gentle presence will be deeply missed and forever treasured by all who knew her.
