Tai Chi/Qigong classes starting Oct. 31 at Crossroads United Methodist Church
     Reduce stress, improve balance, gain strength and flexibility through a Fall Tai Chi/Qigong class starting Thursday, October 31, at Crossroads United Methodist Church.
     All ages and genders are welcome to join the class, which will run from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Thursdays for seven weeks at the church, corner of Haslett and Zimmer roads east of Haslett and north of Williamston.
    Attire is comfortable clothing and shoes, with no special equipment.  People will be welcome to sit for any period of time as the class is adaptable and modifiable.  Those who register for the first time are strongly urged to attend at least the first two sessions to obtain a good overview of the instruction and goals.  
     Instructor will be Jann Nestell of Williamston, a physical therapist for 40 years and an Applied Medical Qigong Healing Practitioner also certified in Tai Chi for arthritis and diabetes.  Ms. Nestell taught at the Parkwood YMCA in Haslett and currently teaches privately and with the Playmakers Women’s 5k training group.
