Community Theatre of Howell to present WCTH Radio Hour on Oct. 27
Community Theatre of Howell (CTH) is excited to bring audiences another unforgettable afternoon of live radio storytelling with the WCTH Radio Hour on Sunday, Oct. 27. This month’s performance will feature two iconic episodes from the golden age of radio: Inner Sanctum Mysteries: Skeleton Bay and My Friend Irma: Thanksgiving Turkey.
“Skeleton Bay”, from the spine-tingling Inner Sanctum Mysteries, promises to take audiences on a suspenseful and eerie journey full of mystery and intrigue. Following this thriller, the mood will lighten with the beloved comedy episode “Thanksgiving Turkey” from My Friend Irma, featuring Irma’s hilarious misadventures and holiday mishaps.
WCTH Radio Hour is a unique live performance where actors recreate classic radio shows on stage, using live sound effects and period music to evoke the charm of the radio era. Audiences will feel as if they've traveled back in time to a night in front of the radio, listening to thrilling dramas and heartwarming comedies.
