The Livingston County Community Alliance (LCCA) meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 6-7:30pm at the Livingston County EMS Building (Hartland Room) - 1911 Tooley Road, Howell. This month’s meeting is Jan. 14.
Please join in this community-wide grassroots anti-drug (prescription drugs, marijuana, underage drinking) coalition to reduce and prevent Livingston County youth substance abuse and to support a safe and drug-free lifestyle. American Legion Auxiliary in Pinckney holding Soup Supper Fundraiser
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 419 will host a Soup Supper Fundraiser on Friday, January 17th. The event will be held at Whitewood Rd. in Pinckney from 5-7pm. Cost is $7 per person. Assorted homemade soups, breads and desserts are being served. All proceeds to benefit Auxiliary sponsored programs.
Foster Parent Information Session being held Thursday, Jan. 16 in Howell
Join Livingston County Department of Health and Human Services staff for an informational meeting about becoming a foster parent at 6:30pm on Thursday, Jan. 16, at the Livingston County Health Department in Room B—2300 E. Grand River Howell.
If you have ever thought about opening up your family to a child in need, please attend to get information on how to become a foster parent and other ways to help abused and neglected children. We need Livingston County families for all ages and levels of need, but especially for siblings, children with special needs, and teens.
