Six Fowlerville High students earn Seal of Biliteracy
Juniors and Seniors at Fowlerville High School have the opportunity to test their language proficiency. If they reach an Intermediate High Level or above and they pass their English graduation requirement, they can earn the Seal of Biliteracy.
Intermediate High Language proficiency means that students can speak, listen, read, and write well enough to live and survive in a country where that language is spoken.
This school year, six outstanding students have achieved this honor. Seniors Andrianna Morse, Nathan Szilagyi, and Aubrey Loomis have earned the Seal of Biliteracy in German. Senior Houdini Minton and Juniors Alaina Espinoza and Aubrey Feldt have earned the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish.
“We are very proud of their effort and achievement,” said Jade Huffman, a teacher at the high school.
