Livingston Centre Historic Society to meet Feb. 27th at Harmon   Real Estate

The Livingston Centre Historic Society will meet Thursday, Feb. 27, at 11:30am at the Harmon Real Estate Office in downtown Fowlerville. The tentative agenda includes a blacksmith presentation in conjunction with repairs on the Kirkland House inside the Historic Village. There will also be an update on the roof repair progress.

Additional discussion will include the continuing search for sponsors, as well as recognition of current sponsors. The committee is most grateful for individual and corporate support of all the hard work continuing on site.

Finally, dates will be discussed for this year's schedule of events. The busy season at the Livingston Centre Historic Village will begin soon. Plans are now beginning for the annual Gramma's Attic Sale (in May), Fair Week activities (July), Fowlerville Fall Fest (September), all in addition to continuing restoration and maintenance of the historic sturctures inside the Fowlerville Family Fairgrounds.

Please watch your Fowlerville News &Views for specific dates. New members and volunteers are always welcome---and needed. Please consider attending the next monthly meeting, or one of the events, to learn more about preserving Livingston County's history, and how you can make a difference in these efforts.
