Grand Equestrians 4-H Riding Program in need of volunteers
The Grand Equestrians 4-H Therapeutic Riding Program 2019 class dates have been announced. As in the past, volunteers are needed to assist the young riders.
Summer Classes will start with a Volunteer Orientation on May 30, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Volunteers can expect hands-on training for all volunteer positions at this time.
Regular classes with the riders starts June 4 and continues through July 18 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. However, there will not be any classes the week of July 4th.
Please come help change a child’s life by volunteering with Grand Equestrians.
Location
Orientation and all classes will be held at the Wylie Farm at 5450 Emmons Road, Fowlerville. Take Grand River to Emmons Road, turn Southwest and the farm is on the right just over the railroad tracks.
Please be aware that we are the guests of the Wylie family and the property is privately owned. If you have children too young to volunteer in the program there will be a designated area for them to play. This is not intended to be a childcare area. You are responsible for your own children.
