Carolyn I. Goodemote
Carolyn I. Goodemote, age 69 of Fowlerville, MI passed away suddenly on Monday, May 20, 2019. She was born February 1, 1950 in Howell, MI to Donald & Marion (Fockler) Garlock. Carolyn married David P. Goodemote on August 12, 1978 in Howell, MI at Marr Community Bible Church. She was a faithful Christian and very active in her church, Mason Road Bible. Whether she was serving in Sunday school or instructing math at Lansing Community College, Carolyn had a passion for teaching others. She enjoyed playing board games, including her favorite one Acquire but most of all cherished her time spent with her family. Carolyn was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her mother, Marion Garlock; children, Susanna Goodemote, Sharon Goodemote, Ron (Diane) Goodemote, and Nathan Goodemote; grandchildren, Kimberly, Alexander and Nicole Goodemote; sisters, Janet (Al) Vasaris, Lillian (Chip) Frick, and Connie (Al) Shear; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband David and father Donald.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at Marr Community Bible Church, Howell, MI with interment that followed at Benjamin Cemetery, Fowlerville, MI.
