Webberville FFA to hold 60th Annual Chicken BBQ on Sunday, Sept. 24

The 60th Annual FFA Chicken BBQ will take place Sunday, September 24, on the final day of the Leroy Township Fire & Rescue Field Days.
“This event is very important to not only our chapter but also to the community because it is one event we have that really brings together the community while fundraising for our chapter” said Webberville FFA President Savannah Tennant. “It is a great opportunity to see new faces and be able to introduce ourselves and show all the hard work we do as an FFA chapter,”
Proceeds from the BBQ will support chapter members in their leadership contests, attendance at the FFA National Convention, and career development events.
The event will be hosted by the Webberville FFA Chapter and Webberville FFA Alumni and Boosters along with the support of the Leroy Township Fire Department. Serving will take place from 12 noon to 3p.m. at the Leroy Township Fire Hall on the corner of Elm and Walnut Street in the village of Webberville.
