Mary Claire Markell
Mary Claire Markell, age 55, of Fowlerville, Michigan, passed away Sept. 13, 2017 at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital in Howell after a short battle with lung cancer. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Mary was born August 15, 1962, in Owosso, to the late Donald Lee Markell and Theresa (Tkaczyk) Markell. She attended Morrice High School with the class of 1980. Mary had three children: Jaime Pardee, Ryan (Amy) Craven, and Ethan Craven.
Mary was a kind, gentle soul who loved her children and three grandchildren: Sean, Jacob, and Oceana. She loved spending time visiting with her grandchildren.
She is also survived by brothers Andrew (Kelly) Markell of Farwell, Allan (Belinda) Markell of Morrice, Adam (Jenny) Markell of Morrice and Aaron (Dawn) Markell of Lansing; sister Wendy (Herb Confer) of Perry; and special friends Carl Chafy of Fowlerville and Charles Lodge of Fowlerville.
She was preceded in death by parents Don and Theresa Markel; sister Diane Allen, brother David Markell, and grandparents Ella and Ralph Markell.
