Forrest Clinton ‘Sparky’Tefft
Forrest Clinton “Sparky” Tefft, 70, of DeWitt, MI, was a loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend to all. He passed peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, April 10, 2017. He will be missed more than words can express, but we know he is happy and healthy again in his new life. Born on June 21, 1946, in Howell, MI, Sparky grew up in Fowlerville and Byron, MI. On August 21, 1976, he married his love Sherry (Parks) and they have resided in DeWitt for the past 40 years. Sparky was employed by General Motors in Lansing for 38 years. He enjoyed sports (whether it was playing, coaching or watching), camping, fishing, anything outdoors, and loved being around his growing family.
Surviving to cherish his memory are his beloved wife Sherry of 41 years; children Tammy (Gregg) Nash, Shannon Walker, Dan (Pam) Ebright, Lauren (Steve) Sielski, Brandye Sedelmaier; grandchildren Krissy, Lindsey, Aaron, Scott, Becky, Tyler, Justin, Meadow; great-grandchildren Gabby, Lexi, Eli, Sawyer, Maddy; sisters Donna (Walter) Wooden, Darlene (Ed) Adkins; brother Denny Tefft; uncle Norman Tefft; nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Forrest Clyde and Dorothy Tefft, and sister Barbara Barnes.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 29 at 11:00am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington, DeWitt, MI. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 until 7:00pm on Friday, April 28 and 10:00 until 11:00am on Saturday, April 29.
