Winners of Livingston Centre Historical Village Annual Raffle announced
The Livingston Centre Historic Village Annual Raffle was held at the conclusion of the Fall Festival that took place on Sept. 17 at the Fowlerville Fairgrounds.
Six area residents are the lucky winners:
Grand Prize winner Patricia Cook of Perry received the multi-colored, Handcrafted Quilt donated by Lonna Foster; the Sampler Quilt donated by Diane Finley was won by Gene King of Fowlerville; Denise New of Fowlerville won a Hand Woven Rug donated by Gayle Clover; Home Depot donated both a Shop Vacuum and a large Tool Set in a carrying case which were won by Fowlerville area residents Jerry Wilson and Diane Dillingham, respectively; and a hand-tooled Wooden Vase provided by an anonymous donor was won by Jane Turner of Fowlerville.
The morning started with rainy weather, but cleared into a beautiful sunny day in the afternoon. Many dedicated vendors, musicians, volunteers, committee members and Village docents worked hard all day to entertain visitors. Plans are already underway to make next year's Fall Festival even more entertaining!
Some fall dates are still available for private or group events at the Historical Village before winter weather arrives; please call the Fair Office at 517-223-8186 or Committee Chair Marj Carlon at 517-223-3831 for details.
The Livingston Centre Historic Village couldn't exist without all the great community support. Monthly meetings will continue throughout the winter and new volunteers are always welcome; watch this space for announcements. Thanks to so many people who worked so hard to make this past season successful in so many ways!
