Jeremy Scott (Langston) Kelly
Jeremy Scott Kelly, a Fowlerville resident, was born September 25, 1981 in Lansing, and passed away in Fowlerville, the morning of September 3, 2016, at the age of 34. Jeremy is survived by his parents: Harold Langston (Dad), Terry Kelly (Father), and Ann Langston (Mother). Grandparents: Phyllis Glacier-Langston, Gordon & Sue Maleitzke, and Shirley Spooner. He leaves behind a large amount of family and friends, most importantly his wife Melisa (Missy) Kelly, his two beautiful daughters Mackenzie (10) and Mackaela (9), as well as his sisters Jennifer Kelly and Holly Langston.
Jeremy loved anything that had to do with the outdoors; whether it was finding the time to hit the lake to catch “the biggest fish” or early mornings in his deer blind searching for the “monster buck.”He had a knack for carpentry and mechanics and was always helping family and friends with special projects when he could. His most recent projects included helping out his Grandpa by working on the semis in the barn, and building new bedroom furniture for his nephew. When Jeremy wasn’t working, he would find time to spend with his family, or his best-friend, Frank Tyra-- always a good time to be had.
Jeremy’s death was very unexpected and he leaves behind many, many people wondering, “Why him? Why now?” He will be missed more than he could ever imagine.
Visitation was held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 8, at the funeral home and an hour prior to the service. A funeral service took place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 9, 2016, at Hermann Funeral Home in Fowlerville, MI. After the service, immediate friends and family laid him to rest at the Boutel Cemetery at 1351 East Jones Rd. Howell, MI.
Those wishing to make a monitory contribution at this time may do so via a Go Fund Me account set up by Missy’s sister, Rachel Snyder DeKane, or in person at the Funeral Home. All the love, presence and support is greatly appreciated. Arrangements by Herrmann Funeral Home, pjherrmannfuneralhome.com
RIP Jeremy, you deserve it.
