Lots of fun & entertainment being offered at the Fall Festival this Saturday
   The Livingston Centre Historic Society is sponsoring a Fall Festival this coming Saturday, Sept. 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. inside the Fowlerville Fairgrounds.  Adult admission is $5; teenagers ages 13-17 is $2; kids ages 4 - 12 is $1; kids ages 3 and under is free; and seniors 62 and over is $1. On-site parking is free.  All proceeds from the entire day will benefit the Historic Village on the north side of the property.
   Lots of fun events and activities, along with a variety of entertainment are being offered during the day. The activities include kids games and crafts, live entertainment throughout the day, hayrides, a craft sale, train rides, pumpkin chunkin, Dr. Mage the Magician, a model train display in the railroad depot, and tours of Historical Village buildings.
   Demonstrations will offered on martial arts, woodcarving, dog agility, and by the police and fire department. Food and other treats will also be available at the event. 

   The organizing committee for this year’s Fall Festival at the fairgrounds include, from left, David Thompson, Marj Carlon, Dave Malcolm, Lennie Ogden, Chris Whitney, Bette Kelly, Patty Dunn, and Melissa Stephan.
