Veronica “Ronnie” Roberts
Veronica “Ronnie” Roberts, 77, of Port Orange, FL, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2023. Ronnie grew up in Fowlerville, Michigan. She and her family moved to Florida in 1972 and eventually found their forever home in Port Orange, Florida.
Ronnie retired from the City of Port Orange Parks and Recreation Department as a program specialist. Ronnie was a dedicated wife, mama, and grandma. Ronnie was an avid quilter and crafter, as well as a renowned cook and baker. She is beloved and will be remembered as the kind-hearted and loving woman she was before this terrible disease took over.
Ronnie is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Wayne “Wayno” Roberts, by their sons Boe & Roger, three grandchildren, two daughters-in-love, and many other loving family and friends. The family currently requests to grieve in private. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Halifax Health-Hospice, Port Orange Care Center in memory of Ronnie.
