Clyde Louis Roy
     Clyde Louis Roy, age 76, lifelong resident of Fowlerville, succumbed to his injuries on Feb 27, 2020 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, surrounded by his family. He was born to Lester and Julia Roy of Gregory on April 10, 1943. Married for 31 years to the love of his life Pamela (Barnum) Roy, he was preceded in death by his parents Julia and Lester, and step daughter Mandie Beauchamp. Clyde graduated from Fowlerville High School in 1961. In 1965 he was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam.
    He worked in commercial construction,  residential remodeling, owned Clyde’s party store in Fowlerville for 12 years and retired from Ward Machine Tool. He was at home in the outdoors, cutting wood, hunting and fishing. Also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Our world is not going to be the same place without him. 
    Clyde is survived by his loving wife Pam, children Jeffrey Roy, Zachary Roy (Jessica), Adam Roy (Mackenzie) and his step son Matthew Shea. Grandchildren: Kyle Beauchamp (Melinda), Nathan Beauchamp, Kallie Beauchamp, Natalie Beauchamp, Grace Shea, Joseph Shea, Jonathan Shea, Luke Roy, June Roy, and great grandson Kayson Beauchamp, as well as his brother Christopher Roy.  
   Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5, from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m.  Funeral service with Military Honors was held on Friday, March 6, at 10:00 a.m. at Herrmann Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be expressed at pjherrmannfuneralhome.com
