Livingston Centre Historic Village committee to meet Thursday, Oct. 3
The monthly meeting for the Livingston Centre Historic Village committee will be Thursday, Oct. 3, at 7:00 p.m. in the Fowlerville Fair Office. The agenda includes final reports from all of the 2019 activities.
The final event of the year was the September Fall Fest; it continues to be more successful each year. The annual raffle was well supported by the community---for which the committee is extremely grateful. Eleven lucky people took home great prizes.
Committee members remain grateful to the community for the support of the Historic Village, located on the north side of the Fowlerville Fairgrounds. Efforts continue for maintenance, further restoration, and improvement of this local treasure. The funds raised this year will provide for installation of heat in the Green Church, allowing for use year-around.
Meetings will continue to be the first Thursday of each month, except January, and the committee always welcomes new volunteers. New, fresh ideas are always appreciated, and additional help is always appreciated. Please consider joining the committee this fall and winter---get to know the dedicated volunteers striving to preserve the historic structures while looking toward the 2020 season!
