Evening of adult storytelling to be held at Howell Opera House Sept. 7
The Final Frontier—Storytelling with Jeff Doyle & Lou Ann Homan will be held at the Howell Opera House on Saturday, Sept. 7. The doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the performance beginning at 7 p.m.
Please join us for an evening of adult storytelling as Jeff Doyle celebrates the release of his latest CD, “The Cadillac Enterprise”. The concert promises to be a mix of new stories and perennial audience favorites.
Jeff filled the Opera House with laughter last year as he and storyteller Ingrid Nixon performed the “Lost Diaries of Eve and Adam”. Audiences howled with delight, and this year’s concert promises to be just as entertaining. Don’t miss it!
This year Jeff has invited storyteller Lou Ann Homan. Lou Ann hails from Angola, Indiana where she teaches at Trine University, is a columnist for KPC News, and writes the blog “Stories from a small town…”
The stories at this event will be adult in nature but would be rated PG-13 if they were a movie.
Admission is $15 in advance/$17 at the door, and can be purchased by calling 517-540-0065 or visiting www.howelloperahouse.com. Light concessions and a cash bar will be available.
