Book Sale! 10am-1pm
Visit the Library on Saturday, April 13th and Saturday, April 27th for our Book Sale! We have books for everyone in the family, so stop by and find the perfect books to add to your collection!

Animal Shelter Drive - April 1st-30th
Help our animal friends in need! The Library will be collecting donations for the Livingston County Animal Shelter throughout the month of April. They are in need of dry dog and cat food, cat litter, light towels and blankets, and pet toys.

Cardio Drumming - Tuesdays at 7pm
Adults. Increase your physical literacy with a fun workout from instructor Kim Griffes. Please remember to bring water and wear comfortable clothes. Spaces are limited to 20 participants on a first-come, first-served basis. *There is a small cash-only fee for this class of $6. At the class, you can rent a ball, bucket, and drumsticks for an additional $2. Drop-in class.

Garden Club begins Thursday, April 18th
Meets every Third Thursday: March-May at 2:30-4pm
Adults. This program is brought to you by the local Master Gardeners of the Fowlerville Garden Club. Topics to be announced. *Register in person to attend all 3 sessions.

Alzheimer’s Workshop - Thursday, April 18th at 7pm
Know the 10 Signs: Early Detection Matters A workshop presented by the Alzheimer's Association Adults. If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it's time to learn the facts. Early detection of Alzheimer's disease gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies, and plan for the future. This interactive workshop features video clips of people with Alzheimer's disease. *Register in person to attend. Registration begins March 28th and includes a refundable $5 cash deposit. Programs with less than 10 registrants are subject to cancellation

Yoga with Erin - Fridays at 9:30am
Adults. Join Erin, co-owner of SoulShine Yoga for weekly sessions at the Library. Yoga is accessible for adults of all ages through modifications. Please remember to bring water to drink and your own mat to practice on. *Spaces are limited to a first come-first served basis. There is a small $5 cash-only fee for this class. Drop-ins are welcome.

Reading with Spring Babies - Wednesday, April 24th at 5:30-6:30pm
Families. Welcome Carousel Acres to the Library. Come to visit and pet baby animals, share a story, and celebrate springtime at the library! *Space is limited. Register in person to attend. Registration begins April 3rd. Preference will be given to families with children.

Paws for a Good Cause - Friday, April 26th at 5-7pm
Teens 6th-12th Grade. Carousel Acres is back at the Library for a small animal encounter! You will be able to pet and hold baby animals. We will also be making tie blankets to be donated to the Livingston County Animal Shelter. Snacks and beverages will be provided. *Registration is required and includes a 2018-2019 signed Program Permission Form. Registration begins April 5th. Register by April 24th to attend.

A Walk in the Woods: Free Showing at the Historic Howell Theater - Saturday, April 27th at 7pm
A Livingston Reads Event
Show your current library card from your Livingston County home library for free admission to A Walk in the Woods. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Beyond the Book: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society - Thursday, May 2nd at 7pm
Adults. Featuring a book and its film adaptation. Movie begins at 7pm, followed by discussion. Movie-style refreshments will be served. *Register in person to attend. Registration begins April 11th. Books will be given at registration while supplies last.

Shores Beyond Shores: Author Talk with Irene Butter Thursday, May 9th at 7pm
Adults. Join us in welcoming author Irene Butter as she shares about her family's struggle to survive the Holocaust and her personal journey to redemption and womanhood. Talk will include a Q&A session and copies of the book will be available for purchase. Refreshments will be served. *Space is limited. Register in person to attend. Registration is open and includes a refundable $5 cash deposit.
