Livingston County Genealogical Society to meet Sept. 7th
The Livingston County Genealogical Society will meet via zoom, Thursday September 7th, 2023 – “They Came by Sail and Steam” Derek Blount, professional genealogist and owner of “Lost Branches”, has worked for 35 years on his family genealogy traveling America, Canada and United Kingdom gathering records, visiting cemeteries and churches.
Derek will present a program to researchers interested in learning more about the movement of our ancestors into the United States. He will provide information on locating passenger lists, and other important immigration records including naturalization records and will discuss alternative places to search. .
