The unsung hero, the person who always volunteers to help, and the role model for others…most of us know someone who fits one or more of those descriptions.
If you do, then the Fowlerville Family Fair wants to hear who that person is.
The fair has instituted the first annual Citizen of the Year award and is seeking nominations. This person is someone who:
--Lives and/or works in Livingston County;
--Consistently volunteers his or her time and efforts to making Livingston County a great place to live and work;
--Desires to make a positive impact on the county and its members;
--Embodies honesty and integrity.
A Nomination Form can be obtained at the fair office located at 8800 Grand River Avenue west of Fowlerville or downloaded from the fair website: www.fowlervillefamilyfair.com.
The completed application can then be emailed to: fair@fowlervillefamilyfair.com or mailed to: Fowlerville Family Fairgrounds, PO Box 372, Fowlerville MI 48836.
The application is due by July 18, 2019.
The Citizen of the Year recipient will be announced during the Family Kick-Off Day program at the Finlan Gazebo on Monday, July 22nd—the opening day of fair week.
