Leslie (Pete) Maxwell
   Leslie (Pete) Maxwell, 72, of Holt, formerly of Webberville, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at his winter home in LaBelle, Florida.
   Pete was born August 8, 1944 in Lansing, to Frank G. and Thelma (Smith) Maxwell.  Pete served in the U.S. Navy and had many occupations in his lifetime from being an Operating Engineer, to owning his own concrete business and then owning his own lawn care business before retiring in 2009.  Pete thoroughly enjoyed his retirement and wintering in Florida where he made many new friends.
   He is survived by his wife of 24 years Marcia,  children: Frank (Mary) Maxwell of Stockbridge, Robyn Maxwell of Whitmore Lake, Richard (Dorris) Crandall of Williamston, Amy (Rick) Menke of Perry, grandchildren: Graylan Maxwell, Maggie and Madolyn Maxwell, Jordan, Chelsea and Wyatt Crandall, Jacob and Jessica Engle, Gennifer Ammerman, sister Jackie Hibbard of Howell and numerous nieces and nephews.
    A memorial service will be held at the Webberville United Methodist Church, 4215 E. Holt Rd., Webberville, MI on Saturday, May 13th at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to service.
