Irwin Wallace Glover
   Irwin Wallace Glover, age 87 of Fowlerville, passed away peacefully late Thursday evening, February 9, 2017. Born in Howell on December 29, 1929, he was the son of Walter and Lena (Quackenbush) Glover. A lifelong area resident, Irwin was a 1948 graduate of Fowlerville High School, a proud U. S. Navy veteran, and former owner and operator of Glover Electric and Woodshire Place in Fowlerville. 
     Irwin was also a pilot, past president and committee chairman of the Fowlerville Rotary, former member of the board of directors for McPherson Hospital, was a member of the Fowlerville First United Methodist Church, had taught Sunday school and sang in the choir, and had been a member of the Fowlerville Masons. He enjoyed golf, snowmobiling, fishing and traveling. Most of all, Irwin enjoyed spending time at his cabin on Drummond Island. 
    Beloved husband of Gloria (Grill) Glover whom he married in Fowlerville on July 25, 1952. Loving father of Teresa (Bill) Plummer of Fowlerville, Carole (Rich) Milster of Bay City and Tim (Ann) Glover of Fowlerville. Also survived by eight grandchildren: Jenna (Justin Shiba) Plummer, Meghan Plummer, Trevor Plummer, Christa (Dave) Sprague, Marc Milster, Colleen Milster, Matt (Ashley) Glover and Brian Glover; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Plummer and Ella Glover. Preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers. 
     Visitation was held Monday, February 13, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home in Howell. Funeral services were held Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fowlerville United Methodist Church, 201 S. Second Street, Fowlerville. Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.
