Community Resource Fair helps groups connect with Home Show attendees
The Livingston County Home & Garden Show not only connects visitors to all the local resources for home improvements, it also hosts the Livingston County United Way’s 16th Annual Community Resource Fair! Visit both April 7-9 at the Howell High School Field House.
Displays from about two dozen nonprofits will be available, ranging from health and human services to youth and volunteer organizations. Livingston County United Way will also share resources addressing hunger and homelessness initiatives, financial stability, community wellness, and youth and early childhood education programs.
Table space is still available for interested local nonprofit organizations. Downloadable registration forms are available at www.lcunitedway.org/community-resource-fair-april-7-9/. There is a $25 fee per table.
There is no charge to visit the Community Resource Fair, however, regular admission fees apply to attend the adjacent Home & Garden Show. The fair and home show hours are: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 7; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 8; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, April 9.
