 Lillian A. Redinger

    Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to many, Lillian A. (Robertson) Redinger, was born on September 28, 1926, in Elsie, Michigan and passed away on June 11, 2026, at age 99. Lillian was surrounded by loving family members at the time of her passing.

    Throughout her long life, she strongly believed in giving to others and lending a hand. Lillian demonstrated this belief as she was active in multiple service organizations, such as the International Order of King's Daughters, Eastern Stars, Cub Scouts, 4-H and several church-affiliated groups. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church for years. Lillian was a successful homemaker and employee who worked in food service for Fowlerville Community Schools after raising her children. Lillian remained friendly and fun-loving throughout her entire life. She loved fishing, yard sales, entertaining friends and family, and parties!

    On August 26, 1949, she married Glendon L. Redinger. They enjoyed 56 years of marriage and raised six children together: Glenda L. Ward (Lynn), Glendon K. Redinger (Jann), Judy D. Andersen (David), Robert L. Redinger (Doreen), Laura A. Eisele (Terry) and Steven C. Redinger (Jill). Lillian has 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon L. Redinger, parents, Robert D. and Adeline Roberston, and siblings, William (deceased in infancy), Robert Jr., Hugh, Ruth, Helen, Fred, Edwin, and Betty.

    A funeral service for Lillian was held on Saturday, June 20, 2026. She was laid to rest at Lakeside Cemetery.
