Carolyn Howse
Carolyn Howse, age 77 of Webberville, MI. passed away on Sunday, October 2 2022 from a combination of thyroid complications and natural causes. Carolyn has joined her parents, Arlene Van Eck and John Jackovac, step-father William Van Eck and daughter Michelle Willhite in heaven.
Born in Lansing, MI at Sparrow Hospital, Carolyn grew up in that city until, as an adult, she moved to Fowlerville. In addition to being a grandmother, she was a member of the Fowlerville VFW Post 6464 Auxiliary for several decades. Upon retiring, she moved to Webberville. She loved vintage movies, Christmastime with her family, singing and enjoyed playing bunko.
Carolyn is survived by her daughters Lorianne Swails and Theresa Schniers and their families. Carolyn was a proud grandmother to her 10 grandchildren: Alyssa (Swails) Ferguson, Ashley (Schniers) Wachowiak, Amanda Schniers, Madison Willhite, Riley Swails, Noel (Schniers) Pope, Grace Schniers, Shane Willhite, Landon Willhite and Kadence Willhite and her 4 great-grandchildren: Ellora Wachowiak, Naomi Pope, Roman Swails, Joslyn Pope.
There will be a memorial service to celebrate her life held on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 1:30pm at the Fowlerville VFW Post 6464, located at 215 Veterans Dr, Fowlerville, MI 48836. All friends and family are invited to celebrate Carolyn's life at this service.
