The Fowlerville First United Methodist Church is holding a Longest Night Worship Service this Friday, Dec. 21, at 7 p.m.
“Longest Night is a worship service that acknowledges that, for many people, Christmas is a time of loneliness, sorrow, alienation and sadness,” said Pastor Scott Herald. “This service offers a way for people to claim those feelings and still feel surrounded by the compassionate love of God. In some churches it is also known as Blue Christmas. If you know of someone that might benefit from a service like this please invite them to attend. All are welcome.”
