Carl Morgan, Jr.
Carl Morgan, Jr., age 91, lifetime Livingston County resident, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018. He was born March 23, 1927 in Cohoctah Township, the son of Carl Morgan, Sr. and Doris (Russell) Morgan. Loving husband of Peggy Marie (Drayton) Morgan whom he married in Howell, MI in 1956. Dear father of Debbie (Ken) Ott of Fowlerville, Mary Lou (Dean) Roberts of Pinckney, Bonnie (Kevin) Phibbs and Trudy (Dwayne) Gross, both of Fowlerville. Grandfather of ten grandchildren and great-grand-father of twelve. He was preceded in death by his son, Richard, two sisters and two brothers. Carl was a World War II Army veteran and lifetime member of the Fowlerville VFW #6464. Carl enjoyed playing “Santa Claus” for 47 years around Livingston County; he also enjoyed fishing, the casino, was a hammer collector and attended many auctions. He worked for Holloway Construction for 32 years.
Visitation was held Monday, August 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. with funeral services taking place on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at MacDonald’s Funeral Home, Howell. Burial was in Sanford Cemetery with Veterans Honors. Memorial contributions may be given to the Fowlerville VFW #6464 or the Fowlerville Senior Center, 203 N. Collins Street, Fowlerville 48836.
