The Livingston County Solid Waste Program has scheduled the 2017 Electronic-Waste Collection Event on Saturday, July 15, from 9 am until 2 pm – no appointment necessary. The collection, made possible with a grant from Chem-Trend, will take place in the parking lot at the East Complex of the Livingston County Offices located at 2300 E. Grand River, Howell, 48843 (behind the Howell Aldi’s grocery store).
This event provides a free and convenient opportunity for Livingston County residents and small businesses (fewer than 10 employees) to safely recycle a variety of electronic waste such as TV’s, computers, printers, monitors, laptops, etc. For a complete list of acceptable items, see the website at www.livgov.com/dpw. Items can only be dropped off on the event day! This collection is made possible through a grant from Chem-Trend Inc. in cooperation with the Livingston County Drain Commissioner – Solid Waste Program. For more information, call 517-545-9609.
